I successfully recreated the evacuation maps for Navy Lodge Norfolk using their old building plans. After scanning each building plan, I captured every detail of the maps and transformed them into high-quality vector art. Taking into consideration the specific instructions provided by the client, I ensured that the room numbers and arrows were accurately placed on each floor of the hotel. Once the initial draft was completed, I sought client approval and made necessary revisions needed. After the final version was approved, I created individual PDFs for each room, incorporating a prominent "You Are Here" red dot to assist guests in easily identifying their location. This process resulted in the creation of visually appealing and informative evacuation maps that will enhance the safety and convenience of guests at Navy Lodge Norfolk.
